User Management

Manage your team from Settings → Users — invite people, control access, change roles, and edit your company name. This tab is visible only to Admins and Owners; members see just their own profile.

Opening user management

Open Settings (your avatar in the sidebar) and stay on the Users tab. Admins and owners see, from top to bottom:

  1. Company Name — an editable field with a Save button.
  2. Members — the list of everyone in your company.
  3. Invite New User — appears when you click Invite User.
  4. Pending Invites — invites sent but not yet accepted.

Editing your company name

Under Company Name, edit the field and click Save. This is the only company-wide profile setting, and it appears wherever your company is referenced.

The members list

Each member row shows their Name, Email, Role (Owner / Admin / Member), and Status (Active or Inactive). Use the search box to filter by name or email. The header shows a running count (e.g. "12 members").

Inviting users

  1. Click Invite User.
  2. Enter the Email and choose a Role (Member or Admin).
  3. Click Send Invite.

The invite appears under Pending Invites. For the full flow, see Inviting Your Team.

Pending invites

Each pending invite shows the email, role, and when it was sent, with two actions:

  • Resend Email — send the invite again.
  • Revoke — invalidate the invite link (you'll confirm first).

Member actions

Open a member's menu for the actions available given your role and theirs:

ActionWhat it does
Disable / EnableLocks a user out (or restores access) without deleting them. Disabled users can't log in.
Make adminPromote a member to Admin.
Make memberDemote an admin to Member.
Make ownerTransfer ownership to an admin (Owner only). You type their email to confirm; you become an Admin.
DeleteRemove a user from the company.
Guardrails

You can't delete or disable yourself or the Owner. A disabled user must be re-enabled before they can be promoted or made owner. Transferring ownership is irreversible and requires typing the recipient's email to confirm.

FAQ

How do I change a user's role? Use Make admin or Make member on their menu — the change is immediate, with no re-invite needed. To make someone the Owner, use Make owner (Owner only).

What happens when I disable a user? They immediately lose access — existing sessions stop working — but their account and data are preserved. Re-enable them any time.

Can I bulk invite users? Invites are sent one at a time. For larger teams, invite the key admins first and let them help onboard the rest.

Who can access this tab? Only Admins and Owners. Members see only their own profile.
