Personal Preferences

Preferences holds your personal, per-user settings — your profile, the look of the app, and your usage. Open it from the profile menu (your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar) → Preferences.

Account info​

At the top, Preferences shows your email and your role (owner, admin, or member). These are read-only here — roles are managed by your admins.

Profile​

  • Avatar — click Upload to set a profile image (up to 1 MB), or Remove to clear it. Without an image, CatalEx generates an avatar from your name.
  • Display Name — the name shown across the app.

Click Save Changes to apply.

Appearance​

  • Mode — switch between Light and Dark. (You can also toggle this quickly from the sidebar.)
  • Color Palette — choose a theme. Default is the original CatalEx look; other options include Rose Gold, Holographic, Deep Ocean, Northern Lights, Sunset, Midnight Chrome, Forest Canopy, Lavender Dream, Ember, and Glacier. Selecting a palette applies it immediately.

Usage statistics​

Click View Usage Statistics to see your personal token usage — total, input, and output tokens.

FAQ​

Can I change my role or email here? No. Email and role are shown for reference only. Role changes are handled by an admin (see User Management).

Do appearance settings sync across devices? Yes. Your mode and palette are saved to your account and follow you when you sign in elsewhere.
