Open and check CatalEx​

catalex open
catalex status
catalex install status

The app shows agent and channel health. The command-line status separates installed components from configured, running services. Keep the agent computer awake and its provider signed in while it handles messages.

Update​

catalex update --check
catalex update --restart

--restart stops, updates and starts a running installation. If it is already stopped, use catalex update. Check status after updating and send a new message to a known agent.

Stop and start​

catalex stop
catalex start

Stopping interrupts availability. Messages cannot reach a local agent while its computer or required service is offline. When using a local tunnel, keep that running too.

Remove the installation​

catalex uninstall

Uninstall keeps saved chats and settings. catalex uninstall --purge also deletes saved data; use it only when you intend that deletion.

Removing one agent or channel is different from uninstalling CatalEx. Those operations keep conversation history and leave removed channels’ accounts available for reuse.
